  The 3 months in the institute of GEOS was great! I discovered a lot of students from different countries (Korea, Thailand, Japan, Italy, Spain Columbia, France, etc...) with who I always spoke English. The atmosphere was very good and I felt we gone all in the same direction to perfect our English. Now I know I have a lot of friends from the world... The teachers gave the lessons, of course, only in English, without translations; after one week I could better understand when they spoke and asked me a question. I worked my bases of grammar, vocabulary, and prononciation. After one month, I felt the progress... The staff is omnipresent to help us and install a good atmosphere; they organised free activities after the classrooms; such as pizza or popcorn with a movie; visits to Brooklyn bridge; sometimes parties such as for Halloween party or clubbing in NYC... In the institute I could use internet free (wi-fi) to communicate with my family and my friends. Every 4 weeks we had a presentation to do, it was very interesting to present a topic in front of our class room; and after the 8 weeks, there's a test to change of level. For me, GEOS was a very good experience, I met a lot of interesting people.. I regret only don't stay more time! Bruno Combrisson France |
