COMPREHENSIVE FRENCH PROGRAM (CFP)
Learning French in Montreal is easy with GEOS. This course will help you develop and use all the basic language skills you need to live in a French speaking culture. The morning lessons focus on the four basic skills of learning a language: speaking, listening, writing, and reading. In the afternoon, we focus on speaking listening, pronunciation, and general fluency. Some of the topics from the textbooks include family, weather, shopping, travel, and hobbies. Using cds and videos, you will have many opportunities to practice your skills in class, and will be directed to use your new skills outside the class to test your proficiency with native French speakers.
Our program includes more than classroom instruction We offer homestay as your accommodation so that you can develop your French and learn a new culture. We can also make arrangements for Airport Pick-Up service at your request on your request when you arrive in Montreal. Our teaching staff is comprised of a core of dedicated professionals, who have many years of experience teaching French to foreign students. We also have English and Japanese speaking staff on hand who can assist you.
In addition, we hold various social activities and events which include our students and staff. You will have many chances to make new friends and we can provide you with other opportunities as well. Our school has students from many different countries throughout the year.

Come study French in Canada's Capital city! Bienvenue! The city of Ottawa is uniquely suited to students wanting to learn either French or English because it is a fully bilingual city. Students can freely use both languages in the school and around the city.
The Comprehensive French Program at GEOS Language Academy-Ottawa is designed to help students communicate in French as quickly as possible and with the greatest degree of confidence possible. Our program uses a variety of techniques and tools to empower the student - both in and out of the classroom. The regular counseling and feedback offered by the instructors means that students can see and evaluate their own development.
Instructors and students are partners in a shared goal. The small class sizes help to reinforce this relationship. There is a maximum of 12 students in any one class. That means that the instructor gets to know the individual strengths and weaknesses of each studentÉ and is therefore better able to offer guidance and support. Proficiency levels range from 1 to 6 - Beginner to Advanced. Students are exposed to all aspects of the French language (grammar, speaking/listening, reading and writing), to ensure that development is balanced and firmly based in practical theory.
Students can also increase the value of their program by living with a French Canadian family during their study term. Our host families are very carefully selected for their genuine desire to share their language and their homes with students. Students who opt for the homestay program have an inexpensive and immeasurably valuable experience that helps them make the very most of their time in this academy.
And finally, social experiences are as important as academic experiences. There are optional activities on Friday afternoons that will help students to use their French in real situations. It might be a visit to a French museum, to a caf, to one of the many festivals that the French are so famous for, or just to a bowling alley.

GEOS PARIS (Executive Language Services)
The latest edition to the growing family of GEOS school, GEOS in Paris offers a great variety of French courses, either in our centres in Paris or in companies in Paris or the suburbs. We have Intensive French Courses, 15, 20 or 30 hours per week. Part time French is available Evenings or Saturday mornings, and we have both individual or group French courses.
GEOS in Paris provides French language instruction for businesspeople, private citizens or students of all nationalities. You can study Business French as well as French for everyday life. Students an immerse themselves in French culture and French civilisation, at our school in the heart of Paris. We provide a personalised program and lesson follow-up.
