Welcome to our newsletter. The unofficial start to the summer season began Memorial Day weekend, and everyone is in summertime mode here in New York City. Things will be getting hot both in and out of the classsroom at GEOS Language Institute.
Again, please keep in touch and join our group! Feel free to insert pictures and share your experiences with your friends. Day after day, our group is becoming more popular. It is always a pleasure to look at all the pictures added. Some of our current students discuss their wonderful stays in New York and at GEOS.

May was a nice month. We enjoyed many sunny and warm days. We took a really fun trip to the Bronx Zoo, where we were able to see so many exciting and unusual wild animals. Did you know, the Bronx Zoo opened in 1899, and is part of one of the one of the first conservation organizations in the USA.
We also took a trip to Brooklyn, via the world famous Brooklyn Bridge. When it was completed, it was the longest suspension bridge in the world, the first steel-wire suspension bridge, and the first bridge to connect Manhattan to Long Island
The month of June will be even better since the weather is expected to be beautiful. The weather is getting warmer and June brings summertime. This is such a lovely month!

"I am an air traffic controller so my job is to communicate with pilots over the radio. What I needed the most was to speak and to improve my skills in communicating. So my private tutorial with my teacher was perfect. I learned English using games and using text. I got to talk a lot. I am also a little claustrophobic so sometimes we went outside to have classes. It was nice to walk and talk, and learn English in real life." Philippe Soulier, France
